Bochum: After a long preseason ( Recent Form: D W W W D )
It was certainly one of the most spectacular news in the 2. Bundesliga in the summer break: After being still in the front row at the end of the six-day training camp in Vaals in the Netherlands, Gertjan Verbeek was only released four days later as coach of VfL Bochum. Official reasons should have been too great a difference between him and those responsible. No matter how, seventeen days before the start of the season, this was certainly not a good time for such a decision. His successor is Ismail Atalan, who changed from the sporting friends Lotte to the Ruhr. With him on the side line, Bochum achieved equally good results in the test matches. Beside a 6: 1 against Wattenscheid there was still a 5: 2 against Carl Zeiss Jena as well as a 6: 0 against Erfurt. The strongest result, however, would have been the 2: 2 against Borussia Dortmund. Bochum led to a 2-0 victory in the 85th minute, but then had to take a double strike within two minutes. With Lukas Hinterseer from Ingolstadt, Dimitrios Diamantakos from Karlsruhe, Danilo Soares from Hoffenheim and Robbie Kruse - Bayer Leverkusen - Bochum has strengthened considerably. The only real departure is Dominik Wydra, who went to Erzgebirge Aue. Otherwise Nils Quaschner and Pawel Dawidowicz had to return to their regular clubs after the end of their loan.
St. Pauli: Eight straight wins ( Recent Form: W W W W W )
Had it been in the last two-season season only after the round table, St. Pauli could have played the ascent. For the Kiezkickers were the third best team in the series and only three or a point less than the two competitors from Stuttgart and Hanover. If, however, it had only gone to the base table, St. Pauli would have already descended before. Because in the Hinserie the Hamburgers were the worst of all second league teams. Just eleven points earned St. Pauli on the first seventeen game days. It is rare to see very different rounds. It was worth noting that St. Pauli, despite the catastrophic first round, held on to coach Ewald Lienen, who paid off the confidence in the rest of the season. After the end of the season, Lienen switched to the post of Technical Director.
NOWGOAL BETTING VERDICT:
After all, a very appealing encounter awaits us to the start of the new season in the 2nd Bundesliga. The bets can not decide for a favorite and pour for bets on Bochum odds of a maximum of 2.50 and for a bet on St. Pauli betting odds of up to 3.00. I can not see any favorites in this first season. Both teams played a great preparation so that a draw would probably be the most likely result. In five of the last six direct clashes of the two teams scored goals on both sides. Even at the start of the new season, I believe that both teams will meet and therefore recommend appropriate bets to good odds. St. Pauli has won all the test matches and has always conceded a goal in the last four of these games. At Bochum it looks similar.
Nowgoal Pick: Both Teams To Score - Yes @ 1.83.
