How to Solve a Treasure Map
Once you've secured a treasure map, the next step is solving it. While this might seem daunting at first, Skull and Bones provides clear clues to help you find the treasure. Each map contains three key pieces of information:

A Written Clue - This clue will usually provide the name of the location where the treasure is hidden and Skull and Bones Items reference nearby landmarks. The description can help narrow down the search area.

A Map of the Overworld - The treasure map will contain an image of a portion of the game world. You can compare this with your in-game map to pinpoint the general location.

A Landmark Picture - Lastly, the treasure map will include an image showing the specific place where the treasure is buried. This image often contains recognizable structures, rock formations, or other environmental markers that can help you locate the exact dig spot.

Finding the Treasure

Once you've determined the general location of the treasure, sail to the corresponding outpost and disembark. Every treasure chest is buried at an outpost, so there's no need to search open waters or islands without settlements.

Once on land, compare your surroundings to the image on the map and search for the landmark shown in the picture. The treasure will be buried nearby.

When you get within 20 to 30 meters of the treasure's exact location, an orange glow will appear, along with a pillar of light marking the dig site. Simply approach the location and interact with it to dig up the treasure.

Since most outposts in Skull and Bones are relatively small, it shouldn't take too long to find the chest once you've matched the location on your map.

Treasure Map Rewards
