Loot & Affix Updates
In Season 4, there are substantial changes to Legendary and Rare items, specifically in Diablo 4 Items how their affixes are managed. The key changes are as follows:

Legendary Items: Reduced to 3 affixes.
Rare Items: Reduced to 2 affixes.
This reduction emphasizes quality over quantity, encouraging players to embark on a journey with their gear, improving it over time through new systems like Tempering and Masterworking.

Affix Pools
The pool of available affixes has been trimmed down to focus on more relevant and potent effects. This means that players will encounter affixes that have a more substantial impact on gameplay, enhancing the overall utility and power of their items.

Affix Improvement: Current affixes on Diablo IV Items can be improved by up to 12 ranks.
Major Upgrades: Every 4 ranks, a single affix is massively upgraded, making your items progressively more powerful.
