The Helm Gameplay Updates
Several updates have been made to the Helm gameplay:
Fleet Management: You can now assign ships to automatically collect and deposit Pieces of Skull and Bones Items Eight from your manufactories. Higher-ranked ships have a better chance of safe delivery, though they also face higher risks.
New Acquisition Methods: Manufactories can now be obtained through:
Helm Leases: Available through seasonal contracts, trades with Scurlock or Rahma, and Smuggler Pass rewards. There are Regional, Faction, and Worldwide Helm Leases.
Buyout Mode: Travel to an Outpost where an Overseas Smuggler will list their demands. Gather and deliver the required supplies within the time limit to obtain a Manufactory.
Manufactory Defense: This new mode requires you to defend your manufactories from waves of enemies. Successfully protecting your manufactory rewards you with Helm materials, while failure means the manufactory stops producing Pieces of Eight until it recovers.
New Game Modes
Season 2 brings several new game modes to enhance your gameplay experience:
Manufactory Defense: Adds a layer of risk to managing your manufactories. Defend against increasing waves of enemies to keep your manufactory operational.
Dragon Boat Event: A limited-time race event where players navigate checkpoint buoys to win Regatta Chests. There are three courses located in the Red Isle, Coast of Africa, and East Indies.
Summer Fiesta Event: Later in the season, you’ll be tasked with stealing imported ice from merchant convoys, earning Cocktails as rewards. These consumables provide buffs to aid in your adventures.
World Events
New world events in Chorus of Havoc add variety and challenge to your gameplay:
Soleil Royal: A new elite warship specializing in area denial and long-range damage. Sinking this warship rewards you with exotic items, including a ship upgrade kit.
Admiral Rempah and the Clan of Fara: New merchant convoys that offer significant rewards for those who can successfully target them.
Mega Lestari Megalodon: A stealthy sea monster posing a considerable threat. Defeating it requires skill and strategy.
Regatta Chests: Participate in Dragon Boat races to Skull and Bones Items for sale earn these special chests.
